The Georgia Fund

The Georgia Fund is the annual giving program of the University of Georgia. Through phone, mail, email and special campaigns, The Georgia Fund contacts alumni and friends to encourage on-going support of UGA's many academic endeavors. This base of annual support from alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff and students is crucial in supporting UGA's mission today and ensuring that our excellence continues.

Every Gift Makes a Difference

Gifts to the Georgia Fund for university-wide support fund important academic and operational programs. Presently, $250,000 of all unrestricted gifts are allocated to build the Arch Professorship Endowment. In addition to this new initiative, these flexible dollars are used wherever the University has the greatest need - from scholarships to study abroad opportunities, from faculty support to leveraging additional gifts.

While encouraging unrestricted gifts for maximum flexibility in support of UGA, The Georgia Fund also raises money each year for Schools, Colleges and Academic/Service Units.

The Presidents Club

The Presidents Club, established in 1973, recognizes annual leadership donors to UGA. Recognition is awarded for the year in which a $1,000 or larger gift, including matching gift company support, is received. Membership represents exceptional devotion to the goal of academic advancement for the University and certain courtesies are accorded to members.

University of Georgia Partners

Initiated in 1999 under the administration of President Michael F. Adams, the University of Georgia Partners Program recognizes individuals whose annual gifts total $2,500 or greater, and support both a particular academic area and special academic needs supported by the Venture Fund.

Faculty and Staff Campaign

Members of the university community show UGA donors and friends that we, too, support institutional needs and programs. Annually each spring, current UGA faculty and staff employees, along with UGA retirees, respond to a call for support to invest in future students and programs.

Senior Signature

Seeing your name on the senior class plaque, participating in campus events, receiving special e-mail updates for graduating students, starting a new tradition . . . that's what Senior Signature is all about. Senior Signature is the Senior Class Gift component of the Georgia Fund.
